After playing catch up yesterday, I had to keep it simple today. For this card, I used the pumpkin and wings from the What A Hoot stamp set by CTMH.
I stamped the pumpkin using some post it tape to mask off the inside details. I then used some water colors to color them in.
I then stamped the wings and colored them in with water colors as well. I also created some stems.
I cut everything out along with a teal mat for my background.
I played around with the placement of my elements before securing them down.
In order to bring in more white, I added some dash lines around my mat paper. I also added some liquid glass from CTMH on the cherries for some shine. I love that it dries really fast!
The overall look was a bit retro. The sentiment was perfect for this style. I am a Close to my Heart consultant and if you liked this card or any of my other ones, please check out MY SHOP where you can find this stamp set and many others.
Very nice Sandra! I love the simplicity of the card. It's perfect.

Deletebeautiful...I can't remember, have you used the scalloped wing as an umbrella yet?
