A Card A Day August Card 27

This is winding down and I can't believe I'm so close to the end of my challenge.  This was also inspired by Mel's request. Using the the owl from the What A Hoot stamp set by CTMH.  I masked off the eye area and stamped it a few times onto watercolor paper. I also used a $1 stamp from my stash of different eyeball sets.

I turned the owl upside down and added some shading with watercolor paint. To make it look 3D I created a darker area at the bottom. I then stamped some eyes on it.

I repeated the process creating two ghosts.

I then took a strip of purple paper and created a banner. I used a gel pen to write a greeting and finished with some dash lines or faux stitching.

For a little added interest, I cut some tiny hearts and placed them on with foam tape. I then coated them with clear wink of Stella and some liquid glass.

The result was a very cool happy ghost card. Even my pup agreed.
